I have taken part in the All Kanto Gakuin Communication Contest 
every year for 6 years. Those experiences have been good for me. 
When I made my first speech, I was an elementary school student, 
having little knowledge about English. I learned my speech by heart 
and delivered it to the audience. I had a feeling as if I was a native 
speaker of English. At that time I found how important practice is and I 
could convey my message in English even if my English was limited. 
This experience encouraged me to join the contest again next year. 
  When I was in the first grade of junior high school, I performed
“Who am I?”with my friends. We enjoyed communicating with the 
audience in English. I have made speeches twice and I got “the Kanto 
Award”, the first prize when I was in the fourth grade. I was delighted 
and felt a sense of achievement.
  Finally, this year, my friend and I performed a skit with the title
“KGM Airlines”, of some happenings in an airplane. We got“the 
Kanto Award”, the best performance by a group.
  I think taking part in the contest is a good chance to enjoy English.
